WHO AM I?
WHO AM I?
Biography
I’m Pauline, a self-taught photographer from Albi, France. Through the lens, I explore the world not just as it is, but as I feel it — photography is my language, my refuge, and the most honest expression of my hypersensitivity. What began as a teenage fascination quickly evolved into a lifelong pursuit of emotion, truth, and visual storytelling.
My early studies in the arts laid the groundwork for a creative vision that has since been shaped by personal experience, solitude, and travel. In April 2022, in the aftermath of the covid-19 pandemic, I reached a turning point. I craved something deeper — a life aligned with purpose, presence, and Art.
So I left everything behind and set off alone through Southeast Asia. That journey — both physical and internal — reignited my connection to the world and to myself. With each step, and each frame, I began to rediscover the power of observation and the beauty in imperfection.
Since then, I’ve photographed stories across Thailand, Indonesia, Cambodia, Singapore, Australia, India, Sri Lanka and now Europe. My camera has become more than a tool — it’s an extension of my identity, a way to document the fragility and richness of human nature with honesty and intimacy.
This website is home to TRASH CAM, a deeply personal project I’ve been developing over the past six years. Rooted in rawness and spontaneity, it reflects my commitment to seeing beauty in what’s often overlooked — and to capturing life as it truly is: unfiltered, fleeting, and full of emotion.
